Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer review

I have finished all my exams!! And school is over (for me at least)! This means that I will be posting more frequently now :)

So today I'm going to do a review of the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer, I'm sure that many people are aware about the 'craze' over this product, as many different bloggers have been raving about this concealer.

I really like this concealer and would definitely say that it is one of my favourites out of all the ones I have used before, but this product does have some cons. But I'll start with what I liked about the product.

The product itself was really easy to use and easily blendable into the skin which was really helpful as sometimes I have found that the consistency of concealers affects the process of blending, and that sometimes really watery concealers just seem to disappear and that thicker concealers just appear cakey. But this concealer was quite light, but not so much that it appeared to not have worked.

Furthermore, I really liked the size of the concealer because normally concealer products are quite small so there is less product in them, so you have to keep re-purchasing, but this concealer was a bit more bulky and had more product inside than expected. It would still be small enough to carry around with you however.

I also thought that the packaging of the concealer was extremely creative, because as you can see below, you apply the concealer with a little sponge/brush that is on the end of the product. This actually made applying the concealer much easier.

However, there were some aspects of the product I didn't like very much, such as the price of the product. I bought this from Boots and in that shop it was priced at £7.99, which I personally think is a bit overboard for a high street concealer, but that's just my personal opinion. I would price a foundation at £8; not a concealer.

Also, I was a bit surprised that when I swatched it in the store, it appeared as quite light (as I bought the shade Light), but when trying it out at home, it appeared much darker on my skin, but I can still use the concealer, I just found that their shading was a bit off.

Overall, I do really like this product and would definitely recommend this to anyone buying their first concealer or trying out a new one.
